Anyone ever used an oil filter relocation kit?

I have a 1999 Nissan Altima. The oil filter is in a bad location, which always leads to oil down my arm and plenty on the floor. These filter relocation kits look like a good idea, but I would like to know how reliable they are.

We used them in the 70's in a Camaro, 350 4 bolt main. No problems at all.

My '89 S-15 Jimmy came from the factory with one. It was a 4x4 so the oil filter, had it been where it was supposed to be, would have interfered with the U-joint for the front driveshaft. The filter wound up behind the left headlight.

Never had a real problem with the setup, although I did have it replaced at about 110,000 miles due to some seepage around a hose fitting. No leak or anything like that, but since it was my daily-driver, I didn't want to be surprised one day and have the thing actually leak.
