Anyone else have to deal with this when traveling with the wife?

Not in the van, but at home.. there's not much I don't like about my wife.. but country music is one of them.. she feels she has to sing with any song that comes on the radio or MP3. So typically, while she is in the van with me, I play 80's or ambient which don't have any lyrics.. Plus I've been editing the currect tracks with audacity which allows me to remove the lyrics or chores in the back ground.
This is why we only listen to "all news" stations.
Fertile ground for foriegn language lesson tapes?
When my wife stops singing, something is seriously wrong. Plus, she sings wonderfully, and harmonizes with Stone Sour, (Corey Taylor) wonderfully. Sadly, as soon as I told her I love to hear her sing to this, she stopped...
Nope.. mine passes out in a couple miles. We joke when she gets older it'll be like driving a toddler around so they sleep, only it's the wife.
My wife is asleep before we hit the city limits! Once on the highway and she has settled into a nice nap, I ease over onto the rumble strips and she always says ‘ I wasn’t asleep’ without opening her eyes.
The rumble doesn't affect mine, she'll sleep right through it. Usually it's just the kids, 11 and 14 they still don't understand. No, my wife just fiddles with phone her phone or calls her friends. She talks a lot too which is fine with me. She is a very good traveler and doesn't complain however she has a black belt in telling me to slow down.

I’m surprised my wife doesn’t sing in the car; her and the daughter have been taking voice classes, so it’d be natural. Maybe they do, just not when I’m in the car—when I’m in the car, I’m the one driving, and it’s possible that they’re too busy praying instead.
My wife falls asleep in car like toddler. I listen to what I want.
My wife and I put up with each other.
