Last time I touched a bottle it was to clean thermal paste off a CPU because I couldn't find the isopropyl alcohol

That sounds like a terrible cocktail recipe!

Since i drink more for the flavor than the buzz (those days are long gone), I prefer one drink every couple of weeks.

When I was first retired , I drank heavier and steadier, than I had since I was a kid.. I realized it was getting to be bad habit when I decided to put a shot of rum in my morning coffee. It lasted about 6 months. I have some rum on hand but the last handle lasted over a yr and I haven't cracked the new one yet.Hopefully this mes will be over and I'll spend a week at my brother's cabin in the Adirondacks pretty my tiddly for 4 days and that'll be it until the next Aug.

At 68 years-old, I'm still at my normal two bottles of Corona Light every week.
At 28 / 38/ 48 years old, I would drink two beers every half hour after work. Stopped the bar scene when I reached 50 and never looked back.

I don't mix them together!

I love a gin and tonic or other gin mixer in any stressful evening or whenever i need to fall asleep for sure. It really helps me sleep surprisingly. Like 9pm or later is when i self medicate. Gin, within reasonable doses, never leaves me hungover or feeling bad the next day.

I'm reserving mine in case I take care of a covid or potential covid cardiac case. If I do I will self quarentine in the camper in the drive, to keep my wife from exposure.

Wife and I usually have a glass of wine each evening sitting out on the patio. Like a beer with pasta or pizza.

Not a big drinker, but a beer or 2 after work everyday was normal. In lockdown I'm not drinking any...have got no beer, and not going out to get any. These are going to be tough times, and I'm not spending money on things I don't need. Alcohol is not a need for me, just enjoyment, I can cope without.

What are you going to do now that they stopped production because they were deemed non essential?

I'm 99% a vodka drinker, and if anything I'm drinking LESS now. Most of my drinking is social, and without happy hour after work I've got nowhere to be social. Now, I fill my time with work and driving for Instacart. That, and last night I found out that the other two tech's in my shop have voluntarily quarantined so I'm now running the show. No time to be hung over in the morning when you're trying to keep a 6 bay shop running smoothly by yourself.

With all the support lately and with my friend passing I have made it another day sober. Tomorrow is day three sober. I realize that drinking won't bring him back and I can't be drinking 17 beers every time something happens. Thanks guys!!!

haven't touched a drop of anything in 35 years and planning for it to stay that way

Just turned the big 21. Im not sure how people drink a case of beer in a sitting. Beer aint any good besides after a hot day. Whisky and Vodka on the other hand...

More of a social drinker. Very rare to drink alone.

I'm surprised to see so many members of BITOG that don't drink.
