Any recommendations for a corded (Electric) string trimmer?

Who likes a 100 ft extension cord? Or more.

Love my Milwaukee cordless.

18v, bump head. OEM line is very rugged and long lasting. Variable speed, using lower setting is very adequate.

I've got the Ryobi 18v and 40v models.

The 18v is a bit underpowered, but if you just need light trimming it's great.

The 40v has all the power you'd ever need but it's ergonomics are kinda weird. I also hate winding up the trimmer line in it. But I also kinda hate winding it up in all models.

I have a Ryobi, you can use the same 18v battery that's used on the drills and other items, but it's better to have the higher amp one that comes with the unit. I get over an hour of trimming before it needs a charge, and it has a bump head.

I have Ryobi 120v corded string trimmer with the 10 amp motor ,it is a beast ,powerful and heavy It will tackle anything you throw at it! In fact it's probably overkill for most needs. Home light makes an interesting model with great reviews, Black and Decker also.

I love my Craftsman corded weed whacker. It's supposedly a medium duty, but I just tried putting some heavier line in it, and it's more like a heavy duty weed whacker that can deforest if I want to. The battery powered one I sometimes use is extremely whimpy, and needs new batteries again.

Got a used $5 McCulloch Trim Mac 12sii from Habitat for Humanity Restore, was looking for replacement until I figured out how to restring it, Walmart has the Hyper-Tough for ~$24, and Menard's has the Worx for about the same, otherwise check eBay...not sure if all qualify as 'bump head'.

And I'd like to think even though corded is a limitation, I'll adapt to it, 40 ft for the weed eater, and 75ft for the snow blower, thinking I'd like to get a corded mower next, but I'll try to find a cheap or free just to see if it's something practical for me. Snow blower is great, just made sure to get as large in diameter discharge chute as most of the online complaints were of clogging.

I did get a second $5 used Black and Decker GH900 trimmer, but the motor whines and I still have to figure out the cure or cut it loose.
