It does get weird looks from people who walk into my room, but different strokes for different folks.
I had some older containers, a few of which I bought on eBay, but got thrown away as 'junk' by family. The one I regret losing the most is the Quaker State can I had in white and green, which was also the hardest to find. It had "Quaker State Oil Refining Corporation" printed on it, with the brand name in black inside an oval shape at the center of the can. My dad used to use Quaker State in our '78 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight in these containers back in the day, so it was something I related to from the past. Ticked me off, considering I even paid customs charges when it got shipped in from the US.
I have 3 glass shelves I bought from Ikea, which I also need to build to display these. I've run out of space on my big, wooden shelf and a lot of them are in boxes waiting to be displayed.
