Any ever use Flex tape?

Does it pop off after a while?

Will it stick to fuel line?

Will gasoline eat it?

Could it be used to patch a gas tank?

Patch a leaky windshield washer reservoir?

I'm interested too.

After the Hurricane last year, we developed a small leak coming from the clothes dryer exhaust vent on the roof. I isolated the leak and applied Flex Seal that comes in the paint can. Up to now, not a drop of water has penetrated it, and we've had some pretty frequent torrential storms since.

I like the product.

Do you need it to fix all of those items (temporarily)?

I'm wondering if the gas would eat at it. I used JB WELD Patch for the gas tank since the leak was near the filler neck hole. Tape wouldn't make good contact.

I’ve used the Flex Seal but not the Flex Tape. Used it on my camper roof and it seemed to be good stuff. I’d imagine the Flex Tape is good stuff too.

Bought some today at Lowe's. This stuff is the real-deal. Very thick layer of adhesive and comes with a plastic backing so you can cut it with scissors. If you remove the backing first, forget it. The glue is exceedingly tacky and sticks with great strength. I bought some white Gorilla tape as well. Although this is also a nice tape (and you get much more for the price), it isn't as "industrial" as the Flex Seal tape. I used it on an old hose...sealed it perfectly, w/o a drip.
