I have A/Z, Pep Boys, Advance, NAPA, and O'Reilly. I haven't seen Kendall anywhere but the service bay at Firestone, and they won't sell it without doing the oil change.

I was curious, if anyone has seen it in retail stores?

Just saw it today at my local AutoZone store. I believe they sold it in 5w30 and 10w30 varieties, quarts only. You might want to call first before driving over there as they may not sell it in your part of the country.

I, too, have seen it at Autozone in qt bottles. $1.95/qt, I believe. It's the Kendall GT-1 Hi-Performance Synthetic Blend. btw--I also have seen it at Big Lots for $1.90/qt, but that was a few months ago and they have sold out here.

The wholesale distributor for your city is:

The McPhereson Companies, Inc.
1064 W. Marietta Ave
Atlanta, 30318
800-769-0344

Call first. If they are like the distributor in Houston where I get mine, they're not open Saturdays.

The only place that I have seen Kendall in Arizona is a Circle K convenience stores (snacks, sodas, etc...). I believe they are selling a Kendall product called GT-1 or something like that. I think that it is a semi-synth multi-grade for about 3 bucks a quart. No major chains though.

The only place I've seen Kendall is at a local tire dealer that does mechanical work also. And it's only bulk 10w30 for oil changes. Maybe that's the market Kendall is going for. This is 2007 and 5w30 and 5W-20 are the most common oils since the mid 90's

. At least it's better than the bulk Citgo 10w30 he previously used.

AZ has the kendal "GT-1" for cheaper than walmart used to sell trop artic.

its only avail in like 5w30 10w30 and 20w50

I have yet to see it in the auto stores around these parts. I have seen it at BigLots on occasion. The fully thing was, it's was something $2 a quart for the synthetic blend. I can get the stuff under the Trop Artic name at WM for $1.68.
