Can't trust something like Uship that has zero phone contact etc. and the TV show didn't leave a good impression either.
About 12k lbs and 1800 miles and would take up less space than a car.

Might need more info. BIL used PODS to ship household goods 400 miles to new house a few yesars ago. Good communication with the vendor. Also used their day labor pool to unload. All went well and delivery was timely.

In the distant past also used SAIA LTL for a few farm equipment items. Warehouse delivery and warehouse load/pick up at their facility.

You have to be more specific because what it is matters.

Home type goods you are likely best off with an actual mover, like United Van.

If its not home goods you will need to go LTL - but loading and unloading is usually on you meaning it will need to be palletized and have a loading dock on both ends.

If its bigger than a pallet then you likely need a flat bed which is completely out of my experience.

No one can help advise you on this with how vague this is.

I assume solid, non hazmat, non perishable, non flammable, non corrosive, non high value (not worth stealing)?

Something like PODS probably would be cheapest if you can afford to wait and don't care about element causing issues, and have enough time to load and unload if fit their containers.

There are plenty of home moving companies and they are likely the most affordable "one time only" shipping. It is not like you have a business relationship so the vendor will know what to expect and cost in a regular schedule.

Also I would imagine exact dimension matters more than weight for something this big.
