Just like title says do any of you folks here use BAG BALM ointment? I had a cracking on the end of my hand and between two of my fingers. Went to the local AGWAY and they still sell BAG BALM. Used it for 2 days and seems to be working wonderfully.

looking forward to hearing the replies

GoldBond Ultimate Healing is the best lotion I've used. It rocks!
My hands crack really bad in the winter, and the Gold Bond slows it down pretty good, and soothes my hands. I put Neosporin on them also when it gets bad enough.

Bag Balm sounds like it would be for more of a chaffing issue.

Bag Balm is wonderful stuff! Been using it since I was a kid, guess I'm still a 'kid' to some of you. Agway??? From WAY upstate NY are you??

Yes Donald it comes in a 10 oz tin thats green with dark green inlay and clover on the tin for artwork. Racerjk, it was originally for cows udders, but women discovered it healed the cracks in their palms of their hands. Men have used it for decades. I use it a lot and it works better for cracked hands and chaffing also

Also know as 'Udder Creme'.
It has that medicinal smell to it.

It works GREAT! Cheap and better than expensive sauces.
But that smell may put women off.

Funny, I'm intimately acquainted with Lyndonville, VT where Bag Balm is made, and with New Bethlehem, PA where you apparently live.

LOL,I've seen the Bag Balm before. I will definitely try it sometime.

The funniest one to me is Anti-Monkey Butt! I still crack up when I see it.

Its called udder balm here. If you want something else that works wonders for severe dry skin and cracking, get a lotion called corn huskers. Corn huskers works better than udder balm.

Growing up on a dairy farm, I am quite familiar with it. We used it as sort of a cure-all for all manner of different injuries that the cows would get. Once a cow almost sheared off one of her teats and my dad slowly mended it back to health using nothing but bag balm. So yes, it's good stuff.

Cchase, I dont live in New Bethlehem either. I live in the Pittsburgh area. Yeah, volk I have heard of that lotion also.
