As per usual, after fixing the house, something went wrong with the truck. My 02 tundra blew it's rack. I get a day out of it before refilling it. The leak just spring up too.

I fully intend to replace the rack, but I need a month to save. Is there any product that works better than the others?

Prestone fluid with stop leak worked well in a couple vehicles of mine with slow leaks. ATP reseal is what I'd throw at your problem. Good luck.

Hey, look at it this way: You need the truck to fix the house, but you don't need the house to fix the truck, just the driveway.

It's coming from the rack for sure, line inputs are dry. Looks like it's coming from the pinion input.

I'd heard that lucus was too thick... Maybe it would be fine idk.

I'd heard positive things about atp at-205, and surprisingly nothing about the blue devil offering.

Dogememe , what do you know about lubeguard seal fix?

LubeGard stuff is always good. It's a new product for us at the parts store where I work, I already sold it once to a customer I knew and it worked PERFECTLY, only thing is it took three days to work which was weird. We used Bars cooling system repair in a coworker's Dodge and it worked in like 5 minutes flat - THAT was impressive. Still, even though it took a few days, if it works, it works.

I'd NEVER use ANY Lucas products. I've tried some of their stuff in the past and NEVER noticed any improvements, or, if I did, it was temporary.

Not that it will help in this situation as your leak is way too big, but for others looking at this thread in the future for smaller leaks, in my Toyota it falls for ATF in the power steering. Good old Maxlife ATF stopped my small leak, likely through seal conditioning.
