I have 3 air filters here (2 brand new ones: wix and a napa gold and a currently used one: napa gold) for my 06 Nissan Titan 5.6L V8. In the pics below, you can see that the two napa golds (same identical part numbers: 6213)are constructed differently. It seems as if the just the newly bought napa gold would allow more air in vs. the old used napa gold i got in my truck right now. The two napa gold still have the same number of pleats though. Im more interested in the diameter of the metal fence thing (sorry i dont what else to call it) of the newly bought napa gold as oppose to the old currently used napa gold that's in my truck right now. And of course as you see, the newly bought wix looks exactly the same as the currently used up old napa gold one. My question is that is there any difference between the two napa gold filters (old vs newly bought one)? It looks as though the newly bought one would allow more air in?
