I enjoy a nice hand made cigar a few times a week. Nothing super pricy, Lately I smoke Don Thomas or a Jenuwine heavenly Honduran wich is a sort of store brand of one of the large cigar retailers here. They run about 3.50-5 bucks each if you get them by the box.

Lets hear what you like like to smoke including pipe smokers.

When I smoked regularly (10 years ago) I liked some of the better ashtons reserves, some perdomo (2nds the local smoke shop sold by the bundle) and Rocky Patel Sun Grown box pressed also El Rey del Mundo tissue wrapped robustos. I havent had as good a cigar lately as I had 10-15 years ago.

Best idea, but if you are going to smoke anything, premium hand made cigars pretty much dont contain the crazy stuff they put in cigarettes, and of course you dont inhale( I know its still bad) I wouldnt touch a cigarette.
I didnt start the cigars till after I turned 50 so probably something else is going to kill me first

I tend to agree. I wouldn't mind smoking a cigar every now and then. I quit smoking in 1980. A nd I just can't bring myself to do it.

I'm more of a snob when it comes to cigars. Think padron anniverary series or davidoff anniversario #3. On a budweiser budget here, so I can't partake too often. My pipe tobacco taste leans toward the Iwan Reis mild. I don't inhale either of those.

One is too many and a thousand isnt enough. An addict here. Thinking I could smoke a cigar every Sunday was my downfall. After a course of Chantix, and tobacco-less since 9/22/10, I'm not going down that road again. I'd been smoking since I was 6 yrs old. I love tobacco and have smoked cigarettes, cigars and pipes. I inhaled them all. I prolly have given myself COPD.

The other day, I had to deal with a difficult customer. Afterward,I almost bought some cigarettes. But, I reasoned that it wasn't worth it. That I wasnt gonna let a miserable person drag me down and break my promise to my daughter to quit. I have felt too good for too long to risk what Ive gained.

With respect to Crownvic4life, smokers of all kinds should respect those that don't.

I've never smoked cigarettes, but will enjoy a cigar every now and then. I don't smoke often enough to really be educated about them, and for me cigar smoking is social, kind of like my alcohol intake. I enjoy many different drinks, but rarely ever drink alone.

My very humble humidor currently has some Romeo Y Julieta Reserva Reals, Rocky Patel Blue Label Fusions, Partagas Black Labels, and a CI Legends Maroon Label which I'm not sure where it came from.

I enjoy Cohiba's but think they're overpriced. I do recall Hoyo de Tradicions being a good smoke and priced reasonably, but I've forgotten more than I can remember the one's I like or dislike. A friend gave me a pipe, and I like the aroma, but I found they're a lot of work so it mostly sits cold, especially with the little I do smoke anyway.

Happy herfing,
T

x2. Black & Milds are awesome. I especially like the ones with wood tips.
