I used to keep bees years ago. Now retired. Thinking about it again.

The bee keeping orientation class we took featured no such high priced 'villas'.

My wife keeps them and insanely continues despite being quite allergic. Two trips to ER (first scary) and 2nd time she asked to be dropped off at door when kids fighting were in car. She came out 40 mins latter fine.

Dad had bees for many many years. Enjoyed the hobby, and the honey. Gained numerous beekeeping friends.
