Any alternates to Mitsubishi PS fluid?

The Mitsu EVOs call for Mitsubishi Power Steering Fluid for the P/S, no other requirements given. Do you guys know if there is any other fluid that meets Mitsu's requirements?
Is Mitsu doing the same thing as Honda with their Honda Power Steering fluid requirements?

I use Maxlife P/S in my Galant with no problem.

not sure, my Galant says I can use MPS or ATF.

Mine's a 02 I had maxlife in there quite a while.
