What is this stuff and what does it do? it seems like only a few oils have it or maybe im just reading wrong

From what I understand,this additive doesnt show up in a basic analysis,you need more testing that can cost quite a bit.

Antimony is a metallic element. Its main use is in fireproofing textiles. Its in battery grids, paints, fireworks/ammunition, medicine etc, etc. I would imagine its primary use in lubricants is as a type of 'carrier'. Some of the lubricant specialists on this site can probably expand on this. John--Las Vegas.

It's a friction modifier. Anti-wear additive.
