Friends,
I need your help. When discussing particularities of japaneese antifreeze coolants (like Honda, Toyota, may be Mazda green) we usually consider them as a carboxylate type that contains phosphates. But unlike number of other carboxylate coolants that use two organic inhibitors and one of them is 2-EHA, Honda and Toyota coolants don't contain 2-EHA for some reasons. But what do we exactly understand under a salt of 2-EHA: potassium 2-ethyl hexanoate or sodium 2-ethyl hexanoate, or both ?
Thank you in advance.
