That's what gets me. Is it normal to have trials on Saturdays and Sundays? It seems like this one goes on at odd times. Ill bet that means extra labor costs, overtime, etc.

I will tie her up in the chair and you can flip the switch..No need to spend money to feed and take care of that piece of garbage.
U can use a 22 long rifle bullet, cheaper and its over.

While I agree that if it was PROVEN that she is guilty of murdering her child, she deserves death. What is a tad disturbing to me is that some of you sound like a wild mob ready to grab a rope. The prosecution HAS NOT given ample proof that she killed her daughter. Our often failed justice system seems to at least be performing as intended here. She's an easy person to dislike....or even despise. But the rule of law must prevail even if our 'gut' and/or our emotional needs aren't fully satisfied.
I wonder how many of you, if actually given the chance with what we know, would honestly feel right about doing the execution with your own hands? Don't get me wrong here as I am a pro-death penalty believer.....but I am more a believer in the rule of law over mob lynching.

Have you watched EVERY single second of that trial? Every word? Every detail? Unless you were there the whole time, you cannot substantiate your opinion, either.

If she was proven guilty of the crimes she is charged with, I would be first in line with the shovel and the 55 gallon drum...

My opinion is substantive based on what portions of the trial and transcripts I have observed. I certainly didn't need to be in the courtroom to have a relevant opinion of the trial and as a matter of fact my opinion is shared by many of those that have....including former judges and prosecutors. Ample information, TV broadcasts and otherwise, provide 100% of the testimonies given. Based on what I have seen and heard, plus professional detailed commentary, I believe the prosecution has failed to prove that Anthony committed murder.
There. I've now 'substantiated' my opinion for you.

She put not one,not two but three strips of duct tape over the little girls mouth and nose. That is for one reason and one reason only,to cut off the flow of air.

Even when this piece of trash gets convicted of murder.... this media circus will continue with her court appeal and legal team.

Again, the reason why this case gets so much attention is because the mother and daughter are white.

It hasn't been proven that SHE was actually the one that placed the duct tape there. Sure could have. They also have no real evidence of the method of death....just pieces of a POSSIBLE puzzle. But in order to convict a person of murder, you need more than conjecture. You need forensics to at least support the claim that Anthony did it. While the prosecutions case was compelling, it didn't persuade me to throw the switch on her.

I do find it somewhat compelling. Crime and punishment is a critical part of society. As long as I don't dwell on it like a freak show it can add a little interest to daily life.

Interesting. As a purely analytical question, why do you think this is so? I would be interested to know why you feel that Caucasian individuals, being possible murderers, is why this is getting a high profile in the media.
I'm not trying to be sarcastic nor judgmental...I just want to understand why you think this.

Am I to assume that you are NOT white? Just going by what appears to be some sort of hang up on race here.....

Another way to look at it: If the defendant was NOT white, and this much attention was being focused on her, the media would be accused of racism for "singling her out".

Do you mind explaining what you were talking about then?

Sometimes I say things that come across as kind of harsh and not politically correct, sometimes even crazy.... but I'm just telling the truth. Sometimes the cold hard truth hurts.

I'm guessing that why some of my posts mysteriously disappear or a thread gets locked after I make my post on certain topics. Its a shame this piece of [censored] murdered her child and was having a good time as if nothing ever happened. How sad.

Off Topic: I have jury duty starting July 18th and will try and get kicked off the jury no matter what I have to say to the judge when asked if there is a reason why you can't give the defendant a fair trial.

The evidence that has been shown leaves no doubt that this little girl was killed either with the knowledge of or by the hands of Casey Anthony.Either way,she is guilty of murder.

She was partying, she waited a month to say anything and that was after others pressured her and she lied how many times afterwards about what happened?

What more is needed to prove that Casey is guilty?

She has tried to portray most of her family as evil people and tried to say that the girl accidently drowned and it was covered up.

These are the desperate attempts of a guilty person.
