A co-worker of my BIL hopped in his truck this morning to head to work. Started truck, put it in gear, and it wouldn't move! Speedometer shot straight up to 50 mph when he gave it some gas.
Got out, looked underneath for leaks or something, and the DRIVESHAFT was gone! I didn't ask for sure but I imagine it was sawn off. Apparently a lot of these are now made of aluminum.

They have reported cases of drilling the gas tanks to get few gallons of gas.

Very crazy, the owner of the used car lot actually said to ask him for gas money and leave the cars alone.:censored:

my boss had his cat converters stolen from his Tundra for the second time this year

RWD truck? (It must have been.)

If cut with a sawzall, what use would it be on another vehicle? How would it be able to be used?
