I'm taking the Bosch plugs out of 2 of my cars and replacing them. Found a neat plug at Advance Auto today. They are Denso TT platinum plugs. They have a platinum and titanium tip that looks just like an Iridium plug. Anybody tried these? I'll report back and let you know how they perform.

Fancy plugs are a gimmick. Go with what your vehicle manufacturer specified and replace them at the appropriate interval.

yea 'fancy' plugs are a gimmick some of them only last 3 times as long as copper, your engine runs a little smoother, and they help provide better fuel economy. i have the denso iridiums in my car, very good spark plugs. personally i'd stick w/ iridium b/c it's a stronger metal. denso and ngk are both very good. i don't like bosch either (not even in a volvo)- they make the car hard to start when hot.

Just stick with the spark plugs that the car came with, your engine will be much happier in the long run.
