That engine must be nice and clean. Ever pull the valve cover off? I'd be curious what it looks like.

I replaced the VC gasket around 125,000 miles. There was a light varnish film on everything but that was it. I wish I would have shot pics.

Those Quaker State filters are quite a bit shorter then the Purolator Classics. However, this filter looks great.

It might be possible to use the QS8A in place of your QS3600. Why? Because the Quaker State 8A is about the same size as a Fram 3600 and the QS3600 is smaller than the Fram 3600.
I've currently got a Quaker State oil filter on my work truck. I'll probably cut it and show pix when it's time for my next oil change.

A bit undersized like many of the QS filters but it looks great and hardly an issue with all that media.
