This is a Man Hummel NAPA Platinum filter on my 2015 Accord V6. As seen in the photos the filter is covered in a layer of oil with a drip on the bottom. I can’t find any other leaks on this engine anywhere so it’s safe to assume that this is the filter leaking. I was changing the oil when I noticed this and never noticed any oil on the ground when parked. I think this will be the last NAPA filter I’ll use and stick to oem or Fram

Yes. It was tight
There have been other people here reporting that a WIX made filter leaks when it's fully tight, so most likely the base seam is the culprit.

Nope
This isn't good, all the NAPA & Wix Golds I've seen recently have been made by Mann. Another brand bites the dust!
So, contact M&H, Wix/Napa Gold tell them the issue, and tell them you want to send it to them for examination, foc. They should be able to either provide a box for shipment or instructions for how to send. That's the instruction frequently given here for other OF anecdotal issues, e.g. the recent Fram Ultra XG7317 with a folded over adbv. Worst that can happen is they say they found no issue.

OP did state Mann-date code isn’t visible, guess Wix made is a possibility.
Like said, I'd find an email and write the company.
I haven't been thrilled with any Napa purchased filter in the past few years, but it varies so widely by filter p/n what you get that you can't paint it with a broad brush.
The only thing Napa, etc has going for it is when you need a particular part now. They just might have it.

I’ll snap a pic of the date code when I get back to work on Monday. I saved the filter. I clearly remember it saying Mann Hummel on the label when wiped all the oil and dirt off the can
The M&H name has appeared on Wix and Napa OF cans since not too long after they bought Wix from Affinia. Topic Napa Platinum is the same as the Wix XP, jaxt like Napa Gold same as standard Wix labeled OF. 'To this point' majority spin on OFs are still made by Wix in Gastonia NC. Not say with M&H in charge, that couldn't change at some point. I have a Napa Gold filter in my stash, made by Wix (not on can) and it has an M&H label on it. Afaik, never seen the Wix name on the Napa Gold can.
Checked oil filter and all is good .

Looks like a typical Wix date code to me. I'd contact M&H now for a return with inspection.
