I can't speak for him but: With titles like: Hertz is selling Tesla's cheap, or Musk says Tesla dug their own grave, or Drape your EV in a fire blanket if you park it in your garage, etc, etc, it catches my eye. Even though I don't like them, and won't own one I read about them, and learn. I love to learn, even about things I don't like, so I can converse about the topic with friends or family. You see I love cars, and love to talk with fellow enthusiasts, like my doctor who sold his Tesla and went back to ICE. We had a great conversation a while back. I learned a ton about EV's by reading, granted I would not join an EV forum!

One subforum and it's all that? "rabid"..."rhetoric"..."ball busting"....any other hyperbole to add? Come on man. At least half of the threads posted on here are anti-EV. You and some other guys seem to delight in posting as much anti-EV content as you/they possibly can.
I agree with your other comments. A few things here to respond to. LOL has meaning, it can be used in place of text that could get someone booted from the forum, or because something is genuinely funny. There are some comments, in these threads that are comical. As far as room for lotsa cars, if the powers that be get their way it will be lotsa of electric cars, and some of us see that writing on the wall and are very unhappy about that. I'd love to really elaborate, but it's best I don't here.

When was the last time an OEM told you not to park your ICE car in your garage because it might catch on fire.
He proclaimed EV's whether an actual accident or fire increase the insurance risk & therefore cost for all of us paying premiums. As if any ultra expensive and unrepairable vehicle doesn't already do this. I don't see your issue.
Like I said before it's best I don't elaborate, it will take us into politics, administrations, and roads I best not travel here.
Do you want me to pull up that list of letters? Ford, Hyundai, and Dodge have all done this for fire recalls that I know off the top of my head.
The fire is out after 10 minutes with an ice after the FD shows up, with an EV they burn all day no matter what the fire department does.

No, it's because oil companies are quietly pushing anti-EV concepts because of revenue loss. It is because mechanics are rabidly against EV's because of revenue loss. It's because dealers are losing money on service. It's because people are anti-American and hate American success (Tesla) and want a Globalist situation. It's because foreign wars are going to lose some flavor if gas prices can't be tied to them and oil. It's because Oil and the Petrodollar are a "thing". There are a TON of reasons we are seeing anti-EV rhetoric. 99% of it is because of the huge push from all of the above, and more, to indoctrinate people against them. I see people bashing EV's that literally have never driven or owned one. They come from a place of huge ignorance, but they've slurped up their propaganda and are ready to tar and feather those evil futuristic machines here to take their jobs!

Interesting and I see the opposite. Calling people Anti-American because they don't like Tesla or EVs, you're clueless. My son did over 16 years in the USN and was in Afghanistan not one but three times for this country, along with four other deployments. Then there's my Father, and FIL who was awarded a WWII Purple Heart. We're proud Americans!!!! In fact our Village honored my son, and gave us an award for our patriotism and how we proudly fly the US flag. What might be anti-American is how the EV agenda is being pushed, and the ICE vehicle is being threatened. Oh and stupid things like pizza ovens, and natural gas heat, etc. So be careful painting with such a broad brush. I won't get into indoctrination.

True - Lots of folks just stay clear of the topic - I think EV’s are great vehicles for somebody else - Some think I’m crazy for having a JLU for a DD … That’s fine.
