Another Deal Bites the Dust

Great! I used to do that some time ago but cannot find them that cheap anymore and don't want to buy filter at eBay or Amazon.
Do you mind if you message me the link to that online store, please?
Its no secret...just watch in the deals section of the forum at the bottom of the main page. When one is announced, it is valid at all Toyota dealers with an online presence. Some charge tax, some do not, most all give free shipping if you meet the minimum, which can vary and be as high as $75 to $125. Lewis Toyota in Topeka, KS has a $75 min for free shipping and does not charge sales tax.

The last deal ended FEB 28 and was 25% off. It can go as high as 30% off at time. Just be patient, another will happen in two or three months. If you set up an account at Lewis Toyota, they will email you the next promotion.
Serra is another popular Toyota dealer https://autoparts.toyotaofdecatur.com/
Again, set up an account and you will get on their email list for the frequent promotions.

I’ve never understood the appeal of these parts store bundles when Walmart exists.
It's probably just me, but I'd rather hang around the auto parts store than Walmart. I don't use much oil (or gasoline for that matter), so the annual cost differential is probably $5 or so.

just checked and for my Subaru, Mobil 1 ESP 0W-20 and an STP Extended Life Premium filter, it is $1.90 less at AutoZone than buying at Walmart…first time I have seen this...

of course this is without any price/sales at Walmart or elsewhere on the ESP...

While I haven't made a study of it, it appears the popularity of Valvoline Restore and Protect has widened.
It's $2 more than other Valvoline products on LAPS shelves, when present at all!

Would always buy the AutoZone bundled deal...5 qts of Mobil 1 ESP 0w30 plus an STP long life cartridge filter for my Merc GLC300 4Matic, when the time came to change the oil. Usually 6-7k miles. Could be had for under $40 total, although was slowly creeping up. Now it's closer to $50+ as the bundle discount has been removed. Filter alone is around $15.

No idea why this has happened, but this is pre-Iran war pricing.
Of course most retailers are gearing up right now to jack prices up on everything they can regardless what or when they paid to stock it. We still must be held up by the "sorry it is due to rising fuel costs" excuse that will eventually be true. Just not instantly. I don't mind and understand we must pay them their TRUE added costs but just prefer to pay for the merchandise affected by it. Not everything they are inclined to jack the prices on just simply because now they can get away with it.
Surprise: Just Old Grump shaking fist and screaming @ no one again.
