Have been hearing a clunking in the front of my silverado 2wd. Thought the coil spring isolators were worn, after looking under there, my lower a arm bolts were loose. I could unscrew the nuts with my hands. So I beat the [censored] out of them with the impact, now much quieter. But, Still hear the clunk as before, Sometimes? Its so anoying! Anyone else have/solved this problem,? THanks

It's ten years old, I'd expect suspesion bits to be worn. But's that concerning...
You probably need new bushings. Or you have another worn component. Have you checked a forum for common suspension issues?

I think its the spacers on top the springs, Im not sure, it does it SOMETIMES, so its hard to find

Sway bar links go bad quite often and can be a source of the clunk.

Having more than a few Silverados the first place I would check is the sway bar bushings. Excellent place to start and not always readily apparent with a quick look either...
