Interesting bottle shape . I do not recall ever seeing this style oil bottle in my area the last 20 yrs. or so in any brand of motor oil. Would put it in my Ford 300 inline 1994 F 150 and motor along with no issue.

I saw them in an old probabaly 1995 detroit diesel/penske/mobil oil promotional where they tore down a series 60 engine that ran 400k miles at "conservative drains" on delvac 1300 super and then 500k miles without an oil change on delvac 1. They showed both 1300 super and delvac 1 in these jugs. Apparantly they were still used until the CI-4/SL era as theres another delvac 1 thats CI-4 plus and its more of a traditional jug shape at the gas station i found these at.

Thats the plan! But into what thats the question? 12 valve cummins or 5.7 hemi
I'd vote for the 347 cubic inch ticker. Every time I hear those 5.7's I have this motherly feeling that screams, "give that thing some oil!"
They make all the right noises out of the tail pipes, and at the same time, a lyrical mess of malaise from under the hood.

Amen to that. I ran mobil 1 FS 0w40 half the trucks life and it loved the thicker stuff
