Amsoil XL/ HM Comparison

Does anyone know if Amsoil HM is the old XL formula? Seems like it has the same mileage recommendation/ specs in similar data sheets.

I don't have formulas. The public doesn't either.

They are pretty close but not the same.

Thanks for the clarification. It’s interesting how many new offerings Amsoil has. Haven’t purchased some in a while so haven’t really tried them out.

Mobil-1 has even more labels than Amsoil. Grades are all over the place too....... from 0w8 to 20w50 (API / SAE gasoline passenger vehicles).
