Amsoil TSO or Redline 5w-30?

I have a 1995 Nissan Maxima (with the engine from an '00) that always gets gentle warmups but sees hard street use every day. It seems to be pretty happy on Amsoil TSO and an EaO filter every ~7500 miles (UOA here). But I'll probably be buying some MT-90 for my transmission, so I was considering trying Redline's 5w30 while I'm at it. Something about a HTHS of 3.8 (vs. TSO's 3.3) just tickles me...

There is no cost difference either way since I'll definitely be using an Amsoil EaO filter, which means I'll be ordering from two places no matter which engine oil I pick.

Thoughts?

Ive used Redline 5W30 for sometime with great visual results under the oil cap.

Don't count me out just yet. I'm an Amsoil Preferred Customer and have been using Amsoil TSO for the past several oil changes in my car. Before that, I used XLF and ATM. My dad's '00 3.2TL has been on ASL for the past ~20k miles. My brother's '96 Integra has used ATM and has also been running TSO for his past few changes. My brother and I have also been using Amsoil in our transmissions (MTF and MTG, respectively). All three of us have been using Amsoil EaO oil filters, and my car now also uses an EaA filter. My brother and I are also getting his friends to switch to TSO and Ea filters.

It doesn't hurt that Amsoil makes it so easy for multiple people to share one source for great oil, but trust me... I believe in the products.

The only reason I'm straying is that, whereas my previous transmissions have LOVED the MTG (yes, I've had a few in this car... don't ask), this one is less than perfect with it (shifting is slightly notchy and weird), and I want to try at least one other oil before concluding that there's something wrong with it. I just figured it might be worth it to give Redline a shot in my engine as well while I'm at it because the specs and the reputation are promising. I also figured I might stand to benefit from the higher HTHS with my driving.

No reason to act apologetic for using Red Line products.
Especially to mitchcoyote, who often recommends M1 when
the mood happens to strike him.

I wouldn't hesitate one bit to use Red Line if my vehicle
requirements called for it. The same goes for Amsoil, but
my feeling leans towards Red Line.

Good luck on whatever works best for you. Your choosing
between two of the best out there. Just remember that RL
usually takes a few used oil analysis to see improved trending.
