Looks like Amsoil is listening and maybe data is flowing in that the standalone bypass is the best way to go.

Amsoil is now offering adapters to run a standalone bypass on the Big 3 Diesels......Bravo

I agree, It seems that filter technology is trending up as far as Full Flow Filters, and I really don't think the Dual System is on part with the "size" of the EAO26 compared to the size of 2 of the 3 big diesels. The Ford PSD and Cummins have very large FF filters. So the best of both worlds would be to run the Stock FF and add on a BMK11 with the largest by pass that will fit.

Too bad there are no standalone 'kits' for the overlooked CRD Jeep diesel. The stock FL400s sized filter is a joke considering the 12.5k recommended OCI.

Does the amsoil kit offer a built in restrictor to keep from starving the engine of oil?

Or do you have to build that into the system?

Put a BP-80-A filter head mounted somewhere, tap into an oil source and return back to a valve cover, oil pan, etc.

EaO BP 90, 100 , 110 are huge bypass filters and keep your fullflow 52 where it is.

LCM, I should have mentioned I have a BMK-17 Dual Remote now. SO I am running the EaO26 and the EaBP-100. I was hoping if I did put the adapter plate on to run the BMK-11, that I could put the EaO26 on instead of the Eao52. I am very familiar of the size of the ByPass filters.

Ok, that makes more since. Any problems/issues with the dual remote? or do you just want to go back to the stock fullflow and the standalone bypass?

No problems at all. I am at 39,000 miles without drain plug removed. I use Series 3000 5w30 in my Duramax and my Jetta TDI.
I really like that cool blue billet oil fil cap.
