made the switch today from m1 to amsoil and and I guess all of the hype is true, the stuff really works. Engine ran cooler(100 deg. outside temp) going 40 miles down the interstate and didnt climb when I-75 turned into a parking lot, and picked up 1 mpg

wow that is good, when I switched from M1 to amsoil 0W20 i noticed maybe a 1/2 mpg more over the course of several thousand miles

Did you happen to switch viscosity as well?

I switched from M1 5W-40 Truck and SUV oil to Amsoil ASL (at that time) and saw a big increase. Every little bit helps.

I dont know about the original poster but yes I did, went from 5W30 amsoil to 0W20. That was with my ford fusion. I now have a 2008 corolla running pennzoil yellow bottle 5W30, after my 5000 mile uoa i may attempt to do 3-dino and 1 PP 5w30 mix to see what happens

Attitude is one of Jung's 57 definitions in Chapter XI of Psychological Types. Jung's definition of attitude is a "readiness of the psyche to act or react in a certain way"

I put Amsoil 0W20 in my 04 Accord V6 500 miles ago. Seems the same as any other xW20 or xW30 that has been in it.

Of course I realize the mileage in that car can vary from 26.7 to 31.5 and yep, you guessed, it the long term average is 29.2

Have to see what I think 7500 miles from now....

I used the ATM 10W30, same visc. M1, just got better gas mileage over a 80 mile loop, monitoring the injector duty cycles and then calculating the fuel loads from that point. I am sure that things will improve from this, just takes some time, but every little bit helps.
