AMSOIL or PPO sold in Canada?

Are there any retail outlets in Canada that sell the Purolator Pure One or the AmsOil Eao that anyone knows of, because so far I have found none?

Well, Carquest has their Carquest Premium line of oil filters, which I believe is a rebadged PureOne so it's got all the good stuff.

Are you sure? I know (at least down here) Carquest premium filters are Wix.

Purolator PureOne filters are as rare as hen's teeth in Canada. I have never seen a Purolator branded filter in Canada at any of the 'normal' outlets; actually I've never seen one at all. They seem to have no presence here, although they supposedly are carried by some small regional auto chain stores here and there. Just across the border from here in NY state, they're everywhere.

Carquest Premium or "1st line" filters in Canada are all made by Wix.

Amsoil EaO would be through Mr. Stefanik. I know of no other source

I guess I'm lucky my Amsoil dealer lives about 5 minutes away from me.I buy just the MTF fluid for a couple of jeeps around here and thats about it but he's a personable guy who's good to deal with.Nice web page Don!I pass thru Forest a couple of times a year on my way to Wingham for deer hunting...nice town.CarQuest are Wix made filters and Purolaters can be had at small,local dealers but are way overpriced as compared to Napa or Carquest brands.

Nope, Carquest Premium is a rebadged Wix filter, along with NAPA Gold and Kralinator.

I used to get PureONE filters from Performance Improvements when I used them in the late 90s, so they might still sell them now.

Nope just called Performance Improvements today they dropped purolator a few months ago they don't have them anymore. Oh well i'm going to buy Napa Gold 11$.

NAPA Golds typically run about $5 to $7 here in Ontario; price depends on the dealer and the model of filter. $11 is pretty steep.
