It's not for road salt protection (might help if you wash though) if that's what you mean, but it's not just for plastic.

Definitely not knocking the product. I'm interested in using it. But my understanding of it's use was to coat an ATV/UTV with it before heading out into the muck. And that this would make it easier to clean afterwards. And that you would recoat the areas fairly frequently.
It certainly keeps the frame of buster's truck looking like brand new!
I'm gonna try it on my crappy peeling clear coat on the F450. Maybe try it on the dump body too, as that is in good condition vs the cab and hood. What I really need is that TikTok miracle in a bottle that restores destroyed car paint with a single swipe.

I've been playing around with this stuff and have found it to work quite well on all plastic exterior trim. This is not a detailing type product I would typically use but I wanted to test it. It's so simple and wipes to a nice matte finish. Aerosol though and smells strong. UV protection and forms a slick barrier against dirt. I'd be curious what this does to trim long term. It's more designed for ATVs and off-road maintenance.
