Amsoil ATF dark in Honda Odyssey??

Does anyone have the 'Honda' part# for this 5speed trans filter? The local Honda dealer says that the 420508# is for an older software they dont use anymore or something rather and the number he needs is longer and starts A17 or 17 ....

nevermind, I found it! Part#25450-P7W-003 for '02-04' 5AT . Can't wait to tear into some knuckle skin!

It's not so bad. I think the one I replaced on a 2005 Accord 4 cyl was actually in the oil cooler return line at the transmission. We then put a Magnefine filter in the hose between the radiator and the large aux cooler we installed. That was about a year ago. He still raves about how well his transmission shifts on Amsoil ATF and how clean the fluid is staying.

Chances are the syn ATF is cleaning the goo residue sitting on the bottom of the trans. I would keep flushing until it stays clear. I had a CRV that had 50k on the Z-1 FF (which was nasty & very dark) and it took about 5 drain fills to get it cleaned out. Once cleaned out it ran like brand new.
