I'm currently using the AMSOIL 0W-40 PowerSports oil in my 08' 500 Sportsman. I'm going to be changing the trani fluid very soon. I would like to use the AMSOIL 2000 Synthetic Chaincase Lube, but would love to hear some feedback from current users.

Maybe one of the fine AMSOIL reps could elaborate on why the AMSOIL chaincase lube is superior to the Polaris AGL Synthetic gearcase lube.

TIA

I am not one of the Amsoil reps on this site but I sell a lot of this stuff to snowmobilers. Its has been around since 1999 and just about every PowerSports Dealer around here sells it, even the Polaris dealer. I just delivered 4 cases to the Yamaha/Suzuki/Arctic Cat dealer.

Don't know anything about the Polaris brand or who makes it. Although Amsoil is a main sponsor on the Polaris factory snowmobile race team, they do not repackage any of their lubes under other brands.

The part# is 2873602 and TCC is the recommended replacement fluid for the Polaris # 2873602.

Ditto what Mike said.

(Sorry I missed this thread for some reason, but got you caught up in email)

Thanks,

P~
