Amsoil 100% Synthetic Diesel 0W-20 VOA

Is this a new thing? Have never heard of 0w-20 diesel oil

These are Dexos D low viscosity diesel oils for light duty diesels that formerly used Dexos 2 lubricants.
I would contact Amsoil and possibly offer a sample and let them know that there is possibly an issue with their pipeline/storage infrastructure. It would certainly be worth the contact. It might possibly be an erroneous reading at the lab.
Especially considering OA/Polaris Labs is supposed to know Amsoil very well. If they're flagging the Al something might not be right or OA just strikes again with general limits. Yeah OP call them up for an explanation. If this is part of the additives that are showing higher Al then they should state that on the report & not flag it red, maybe orange.
I've reached out to Amsoil with the report and to get their input. Since I've only been buying one quart of various the DexosD oils for VOA I had already dumped the rest of the quart for disposal. I do still have the bottle so I was able to provide the batch number to Amsoil so it's not a total loss.
4 ppm Al isn't much. Say 1 ppm from some piping in one of the constituent makers, 3 ppm from the Mg additive.
I guess some people missed the whole discussion about “high” aluminum in virgin HPL samples and how it was explained as essentially, false positive flagging. Even though we’ve had the discussion 17 times or so.
