Light base oils have higher volatility. Since it is their OE line, it'll be Group III based. VISOM 4, which is one of Mobil's Group III+ base oils has a Noack of 14.8% for example. VISOM 6, which is almost 7cSt, is 8% but its CCS visc is not suitable to meet the 0w-xx designation. A blend of those bases would likely result in what we are seeing here for Noack.
