America's top twenty donut chains

Duck (fav from this list)
KK (not a fan
Dunkin (love their coffee far as chains)

I want to try Voodoo sooo bad. About a hour from me is a bakery that has been opened since 1956. When you walk in before ordering the owner or staff will give free samples. Best doughnuts by far!

Will have to check out vodoo donuts sometime, thanks for the recommendation.

I am not sure donut making is rocket science, although I have never made a donut. But I have eaten a lot of donuts.

Just two things required for a outstanding donut. Very fresh, and quality ingredients. Seems those two things are often hard to find in a donut today.

I think three. KK, Winchell’s, and Dunkin’. And sorts Top Pot since a certain large coffee chain used to sell them at one time, which I tried a couple of times.

Winchell’s used to be the dominant chain in my area but they just started disappearing. But their old signs are unmistakeable, with a rounded triangle.
