I just saw this while researching a new car. Not sure how accurate this is. I wish they had percentage of American content. I was amazed that in the top 20 most American made cars there were only 2( Jeep Gladiator & Ram 1500 Classic). There are many Toyota and Honda products. I also read in a different article that the Lincoln Nautilus is made in China! Isn't that a tarted up Escape? Not sure why it cant be built on the same assembly line.
Not sure where the F150 and Sierra/Siverado fit in the mix but cant believe they are not on the top

Does that say what the parts percentage country of origin is?
No, but that is probably part of the equation. For example, the Tesla Model 3 is #21 on the list; it is only made in Fremont. Many of the 3's use an outsourced battery which is the single most expensive part of the car. My new car might be the most made in America car you can buy; that's a key reason I bought it.

Interesting. My RAM window sticker says it was assembled in Sterling Heights, MI.

The engine came from Italy and the transmission from Germany, with only 28% of all other parts coming from Mexico (The rest are U.S. or Canada).

The Lincoln Nautilus is a bigger platform than the escape which is based on the MKZ I think. Lincoln and definitely Cadillac have gone away from just "tarted up". From my understanding Cadillac only shares 5% of parts from other GM brands. The reason that Lincoln went to Chinese production was that the Nautilus sells 2-3 times as many as they do in the USA. Second I thought that the assembly line that the Nautilus had been on was being retooled for ev's according to Ford

Not sure how much of it is manufacturing vs. assembly, but here in Alabama, we have massive Toyota/Mazda, Mercedes, and Hyundai plants.

Definitions: "Made" = put together, not necessarily manufactured. Be more honest if they said "assembled" vs. "manufactured", at least in the English I speak, but who knows these days!
Yep. Words without clear definitions can mean whatever they want them to mean.

The F150 has dropped quite a bit in the past 10 years. In 2014, it was #1 on the list. The 2015 redesigned dropped it out of the top 10 but I can't find a source that says where it dropped to.

My F150 is a 2015 and it was assembled in Dearborn. I know the 2.7L engine was made in Lima, Ohio. The transmission was made in Livonia, Michigan, and the rear axle was made in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
