Alternative matic k

Just bought an old hi mileage 2008 quest and would like to do a few drain and fills. It requires matic k atf. Maxlife is often recommended but it has a lower viscosity than the oem if I read correctly. Valvoline makes an import mutlivehicle with a higher viscosity than the normal maxlife i noticed...I believe ive narrowed it down to the valvoline import maxlife and Castrol transmax. Any other recommendations,.. am i thinking correctly?

Castrol's full synthetic ATF is also very good. Castrol Full Syntehtic and Maxlife are both great choices.

Castrol Import Multi-Vehicle is closer than the full-synthetic ATF from Castrol and Valvoline MaxLife. Those are both low-viscosity fluids, unlike Matic-K. Some say that Nissan Matic-K and this Castrol IMV ATF are in fact the same fluid...

The NissanMatic D and K series has been superseded in most cases by NissanMatic S. Redline D4, D6 or Amsoil ATF or ATL will also function quite well.

Thanks for setting my mind at ease. I wasn't sure if there was a go to replacement for matic k....I guess ill shop around online and let price decide. I have used both redline and Idemitsu in the place of M5 atf in the past with success, both seemed better than oem.

Went with Hall's suggestion the castrol IMV, already smoother after one drain and fill.
