All the reports say interest in Tesla fading, pictures tell a different story

Did you sell your position in Tesla in the past 12-24 months? If not, I am wrong and I am sorry.
HUH? I never owned Tesla.
I traded GM a number of times over the years, never held it more than a month or so. "I have no position in any car company and never had any longer term position in any of them.

Malls in SEA are all over the place, unlike in the USA. Generally they work because their mass transportation is also subjectively better, and more walkable.
Yes, I know, I was blown away staying in GBC Manilla for 2 weeks in Nov 2024
Actually would love to own a condo there. Ive never been in a more pretty, friendly and safe feeling city in my life. Granted I have traveled very little. Over 24 hours on a plane about 33 hour of travel time is a bit much though. One flight of the four is a straight 14 hours non stop by the time you stop, you are glad to.

My FIL retired there on the southern coast of the main island with his native wife, might visit sometime. He lives a very good life.

Only few models to choose from S,X,Y, 3 an CT. Tesla needs to add mid-size and full sized SUVs or maybe a full size P/Us to their lineups.

Or because we had malls for 60 years and AMZ killed them.

We had one of the first malls in the country in Cherry Hill, NJ. Built in the 1960's.

Its owner's touted the mall as the nation's first enclosed shopping center east of the Mississippi when it opened in 1961.
The mall had 90 stores, exotic birds, tropical plants, fountains and a movie theater on 15 acres of old farm land and served customers from southern New Jersey and the Philadelphia area.

this reminded me of a youtube financial guru that was actively promoting Tatooed Chef stock, and he was going around Target stores to see if people are still buying their frozen foods and then he was sharing these statistics on his channel trying to convince people that stock is about to blow up hahaha. you can't make this up. last time I checked this company is bankrupt.

All over the news Tesla is in trouble.

Going through a mall in Asia on a Monday night. Amazing to see people and their interest in the Teslas on display . The mall had other vehicles on display, but those vehicles were not drawing any interest, including Chinese EVs.

Look at the pictures, mall is fairly empty, with the exception on the Tesla display. People taking selfies, etc.

Fascinating..... Might have to pull a @JeffKeryk and buy TSLA stock while it's price is short term depressed( not really - I don't buy equities).

That doesn't mean interest. It just means it is a good marketing campaign.

Until people put down a deposit to buy one it is not an "interest".

Tesla's stock has dropped at an alarming rate for various reasons this year. Will it stabilize? Who knows, but Elon isn't making things better as he is unquestionably a polarizing individual.

76% drop in Germany. I didn’t expect that. I was thinking 40-50%.
Take into consideration that EV sales is up 37%. VW being biggest winner.
Tesla has a year to figure out things (get rid of Musk). After that, company is going to be on life support. This is the part where stock price doesn’t matter. Still, it lost 1/3 of value since November.
However, I think company is done in Europe.

Day by day i'm more drawn to this opinion.

You are correct.

PT Barnum will have trouble across the globe if things don’t change.

My post was trying to show the drop of 76% in feb. That part is undeniable.
I’ve had the same problem. I’m finding I’m unable to actually contribute to these threads because we all know what the problem is. It’s causing people to rethink their purchase.

I’ve had posts deleted just for referencing that.

The products are sound; probably the best overall in the EV space. As @edyvw posted, the damage is undeniable, not to mention significant.
Interesting times ahead... In the meantime the local store offered invited me for a Juniper test drive.
