When I took it back to a different dealer, they tried to tell me it was residual oil from the first job (it wasn't).
It's ridiculous. I could tell you stories all day, but these businesses should realize that every client is important and deserves quick and thorough service at a fair price. We should be able to count on them to resolve warranty issues quickly as well instead of jerking us around until the warranty runs out, etc. And that "just bring it back if anything is wrong" garbage is infuriating.
Also know that many of these warranted repairs are handled relative to Mfgr policies which can be a serious part of the problem. The smartest ones quickly recognize issues and deal with them as per Toyota with its rusty frames, etc.
