All aboard survive Tesla driven off a 330 foot cliff.

Seems like people are quick to hate on Tesla for a few isolated accidents, but I don't recall any positive stories of their occupant protection systems. How does everybody live after plunging 330 feet off a cliff? This was in January but I don't recall seeing this mentioned in the press until now.

It was all over the press just do a search in your favorite search engine with the words = "Tesla plunges off cliff" and you will get pages of news reports when it was covered back in Jan. Its old news. It is impressive that everyone survived but to be honest, we dont know many who drove off that cliff in other cars But yeah, very impressive, many cars envelope you in air bags.

As far as other accidents that you mention, well, those reports are of the car KILLING other people, not the people driving the car.

Let say it exploded like an ICE would and burned it would have attracted the let’s find a random thing to dislike about EVs.

Explosions are a Hollywood thing. Car fires are real, but liquid gasoline doesn't really explode. There are stories of car tires making a pop sound from heat rupture. And tanks melting, where their might be a small fireball. But all those TV shows and movies need explosives to actually create an explosion.

This is like the parachute on the Cirrus airplanes. If you are a competent pilot and make good decisions, i.e, don't fly into convective activity, or VFR into IFR, you don't need the **** parachute.

I hope the guy's wife filed for a divorce after she recovered. What an a-hole.

We definitely took this into consideration when purchasing our last family car, and did wind up getting a Model Y. It was the safest car we could get in our price range.
