I blast at home with a worn 2 tip at 100psi at tip with a 7.5hp unit the pump will remain running continues at about 145psi for as long as i need could be up to a 1hr I'll be running out of sand.
My at work compressor would run a 8 tip easily without breaking a sweat.
I've worked with with air all my life and no one ever said I Have to much air but you sure hear the complaining when you run out.
