No. I don't want my bank pestering me constantly. I dont want people at my door pestering me. I dont want people pestering me. Period. I am highly annoyed when you go to certain retailers and every time you check out, they ask if I want to sign up for a store credit card. No. No, I don't. And as a matter of principle, I will go down the street to your competition, and make more purchases there.
As to the topic at hand, I do have several credit cards with Chase/Bank of America and others. These two companies are notorious for sell, sell sell!! Last time they called, I told them in no uncertain terms, that I was to be removed from any and all marketing list. If I received even one more unsolicited call from them, I would cut up my cards and close my account. Has worked so far. Knock on wood.
