<again> about my mixed engine oil

hello everyone

i have a car repair-shop

my mixed oil = valvoline turbo gx7 3.5 liter 5w30 + P.A.O 0.3 liter + ESTER 0.2 liter
+ viscocity-retentioner 0.0125 liter

1. P.A.O + ESTER is a pure 100% base-oil what was supplied to 3major oil-maker at south-korea --> oil-quality is a very reliable.. it is a true....

2. i have been changed a mixed-oil(with valvoline gx7) for about 500-vehicles, or more


car owner says....
1. to be better time of trans-shift
before 1st--> 2nd = 2200rpm --> 2500rpm
after 1st--> 2nd = 1800rpm --> 2200rpm
2. to be better time to get a max-speed
3. to be less shift-down(trans) at up-hill driving
4. more effective for aged vehicle(6~7 year, over100,000km), especially LPG vehicle
5. feeling about noise reduction + more soft engine-condition

only what i think is......
VHVI / 3group engine oil + my mixed oil ==> 4 or 5 group engine oil

is it a possible ?
what do you think about it?

Let's put it this way, mixed oil is better than no oil. Come back in about 6 months and let us know how's the engine is holding up to the mixture and if it's running fine or not.

You're not going to feel stuff like different transmission shift times by changing your oil. I'm highly suspicious of those who claim any felt increase in power, as well.

I don't think you have enough of the PAO and Ester to effect the 3.5L of Valvoline oil. And you are also diluting the additive package 15% by adding base oils. What are the viscosities of the PAO and Ester?

It is not likely that your mixing is helping anything in a significant way. Oil companies are good at figuring out what makes a good base and additive package. I would just buy a quality oil and stick with it. If you want to help your customers more, give them top offs when they are low for a cheap price.

The Valvoline oil is great by itself.

Leave it alone and do not mix.

If a car has an engine problem and you put in mixed oil, the owner may try and blame your for your mixed oil messing the engine. I would not do it.

Your mix constitutes... an oil change. Nothing more, nothing less. It is doubtful anything will be different either way (better or worse).
