i have some questions about engine oil....
i am sorry for my poor english...

Be ready
1. valvoine turbo gx7 4 liter
2. P.A.O(100%) - sold by chemical store at market
ESTER(100%) - "same"
**chemical store say " this oil( P.A.O + ESTER) can be mixed normal engine oil(even mineral engine oil) and be high qulity oils"

turbo gx7 oil 3.5 liter + P.A.O(100%) 0.3 liter + ESTER(100%) 0.2 liter

is it a possible ? to be better engine oil?
is it a harmful for engine?

Chemical store will tell you anything to sell you product. I spent a year in Korea in 1987-88. Shop owners will tell you anything to get a dollar out of your hands and into their hands. Anything.


don't do it. Just buy good quality oil. You can get good oils in South Korea.

Is the PAO and ESTER just a base oil with no additives?

If it is just pure base oil you would be diluting the additives in the valvoline gx7.

Tho would not make it better, in my mind.

I would use a high quality oil and not mix in my humble opinion and I have 5 different vehicles and I never mixed stuff to run my supercharged buick , just plain old Quaker State Ultimate Durability , amd AC Delco Supercharger oil in the blower

Potentially you have the possibility of making fine oil. I would guess the odds are about one in ten. If the PAO and Ester are very expensive you might have better odds. Potential troubles are what viscosity PAO are you planning on using. You do not want to raise or lower the correct viscosity. Otherwise generally an improvement. There are hundreds of esters available. Polyol esters are most likely acceptable at 0.2 liter per 3.5 liters of oil. Phthalate ester is more risky. You should probably run API sequence tests to make sure the oil is OK. That should cost about $100,000+. Of course that raises the cost of the oil so much you would be better off changing cars. While all OEMs promote against formulating your own oil, we all know they believe in planned obsolescence.
