Aftermarket radiator minefield

They design the packaging for commercial delivery instead of to residential. Guys delivering to a dock tend to do better than throwing everything to the back of a UPS truck going down every block.
Yes, its the packaging type.

Retail / single ship packaging vs overpack / intended to ship on pallet with 19 others to a warehouse.

You see this all the time - some wholesaler trying to cheap out so they buy 20 in an overpack and individual ship which they are not supposed to.

Except OEM's don't make radiators. My replacement Koyo rad was much better than the Calsonic / Nissan OEM spec one. Had two distinct cores vs one larger one with a crimp in it - ie no cirulation between cores.

Denso makes for a lot of OEM's, so your back to specs.

There certainly are bad and good in the aftermarket, but with radiators I don't think OEM are always best.
You are correct. I buy cooling system parts from the manufacturers that supply cooling system parts to BMW.

The fact that you had to order three radiators just to get one unbent is insane. Total joke what passes for shipping packaging these days. Good luck with the CSF install!
