Aftermarket Parts

Hello,

I would like to know if anyone ever used or heard of the aftermarket brand "Replacement"? The "Replacement" brand sells all types of aftermarket auto parts from suspension, cooling system, fuel pumps, Water Pumps...etc. The main question is...Are they any good and who make's "Replacement" brand auto parts...Any ideas??? Thank's.

I'm not familiar with that brand, but i admit it sounds to me like your run of the mill white box Chinese parts.

It sounds to me like after you put them on your car your still going to need a replacement. Like perpetual planned obsolescence.

My idea is that they buy the cheapest parts available for their product line. Does anyone use the term 'seconds' any more?
When any part fails a QC check it's routed to the "Replacement Parts" people. Kira

Advance used to sell something called "OE" which were of course chinese cheapos.

Reminds me of the 90's when there was actually an expensive long distance carrier called "the phone company". So you had your choice between AT&T, Sprint, MCI, and TPC.

It is a China based company that makes typical cheap China-JUNK. No official website but look around( search engine )and you will find the info.

I ran a company manufacturing quality automotive parts, I would not call the brand "Replacement". Or Value or Budget.

Assume they are cheap China made stuff.

Thanks guy's, I purchased a "Replacement" Brand water pump for my car and wanted some opinions on the quality and longevity. One thing that "97f150" posted was true and that is when i got the part delivered it came in a white box...LOL! I definitely will be buying a higher quality aftermarket water pump, Do anyone know of any better brands...Gates, Airtex, Gmb, Autozone Duralast, A1 Cardone Select..etc? Thank's again.

What is the year/make/model? That will impact what's available.

"Replacement" sounds like the really low quality parts from eBay. I would stay away from them, especially if it is a water pump!!!

I have installed a few new parts from Replacement brand. It is a typical weak part from China or Taiwan.
