You missed Pennzoil.

I would have better luck winning the lottery then to find Pennzoil Mercon V near me.

The (2) nearest FORD dealerships are 52 and 56 miles away. One of them wants $6.76 per qt. and the other wants $5.99 per qt.
There are several NAPA's near me and they sell Valvoline and store brand.
O'Reilly's only sells Valvoline and AZ sells Castrol and Coastal. AAP and PB's are 52 miles away.
Living in the sticks has its disadvantages sometimes.

Motorcraft Mercon V has an MSRP of $6.26 a qt. Ford only gives dealers about $1.50 profit per bottle comparing cost to MSRP.

I was lucky to pick up 24 quarts of Castrol Merc V when Advance still allowed the coupon codes on ATF...Ended up being $3.50 a quart or so. Back when I was researching which fluid to use, I was surprised to see how few choices there were for Mercon V. Found 3 old quarts of Pennzoil at a local Walmart, but Castrol and Advance house brand were the only ones that I could find in enough volume to do a good flush. Never checked the dealership. COnsidered Maxlife but there was some issue of it being compatible with Mercon V in its latest formulation. My local Napa's had Valvoline Merc V but it was way over priced. Been happy with the Castrol and will be using some of my stash soon to do another flush.

Supertech Mercon V:

Suitable for use where the following automatic transmission fluids are recommended:
Chrysler 3 and 4 (except C-604 transmissions)
DEXRON II (E, F)
DEXRON III (G, H)
DEXRON VI
Honda Z-1
MERCON
MERCON LV
MERCON SP
Nissan Matic-J
Toyota T-IV or Toyota WS

Motorcraft Mercon V:

Not for use in applications where MERCON® SP, MERCON® LV, Continuously Variable Chain Type Transmission Fluid, Motorcraft® Premium Automatic Transmission Fluid, FNR5 Automatic Transmission Fluid or Type F Automatic Transmission Fluid is recommended

There are several.

Castrol Import Multi-Vehicle ATF if you can find it.
Castrol Mercon V
Coastal Mercon V (AutoZone)
Pennzoil Mercon V (Is it licensed? I have seen it at Pep Boys)
Supertech

My favorite is Motorcraft Mercon V. You can buy it for $5 a quart by a special order from O'Reilly store, or from Ford dealers (more expensive).

By the way, has anyone checked the AAP Mercon V? It's probably licensed too.

For a product to legally be called "Mercon V" it must be licensed by Ford. The blender must submit proof to Ford that the product meets the spec.

This is as opposed to a blender simply making the claim that their product is "recommended for" or "suitable for" or similar weasel words......like Valvoline's product: it's called "ATF for Mercon V Applications".

Pretty shady.

Basically, Valvoline somehow found away around the required Ford license by re-wording their label?
I was seriously considering buying (4) qts. from NAPA @ $4.49 each.
WM has Mercon V for $4.27 a qt.
Decisions decisions.

Valvolines website says specifically that it is not a product licensed by Ford...don't know if the bottle says that. So not really any more or less shady than other companies. I thought several years ago that it was licensed...but I could be wrong. Thats one of the reasons I chose Castrol....and it was $2.50 a quart on sale from Pep Boys when I first used it.

It looks like ST Merc V is moving towards being a MaxLife clone. Merc V 100°C viscosity specs are higher than half of the ATFs on that list.
