IME here a hi po app may benefit, but the difference will be minuscule if even detectable.

Typical intake system flows far more than needed to allow for poor maintenance...

The unknown variable is you don't know how much "dirt" is in the incoming air.
In the '60s British racers often ran without air filters because the rainy weather kept the dust level very low.

I know how much dirt is in the air. That truck spends a lot of time running around my back lot, which is a perpetual dust storm. It lives in nothing resembling a clean environment. The area we are in will leave a decent black coating of dirt on your car just from being parked during the daytime. Ridiculously filthy industrial area.

In mine 2-2=4; 100-99=1; 100-97=3.

I am running the AEM Dryflow and you can search my profile and look at my internals and my 11000 mile uoa. AEM panel filter works great. I modified airbox and have Borla exhaust.

I realize this from 2007, but it may still hold true and be of value. SWRI testing of select AEM, AFE, Airaid and K&N filters with the FINE dust ISO test. I would have liked to see a comparison with several high quality paper filters, though.

What you get in a used oil analysis has nothing to do with the fact that a filter that removes 97% of whatever lets 3x as much through as a filter that removes 99%.
If you want to refute my original statement you'll have to come up with something more relevant than that you are happy with the filter you have chosen.
I'm letting this go now and you can have the last word; I'm guessing that's very important to you.
