I mean that modern HD30 might be better than the cheapest 10W30 or 5W30 people were putting in them back when they were new.

Mobil 1 Extended Performance 10w30 was close to $10. At Walmart is way cheaper.
They set some expensive oils among the cheap FEAM oils.

Not in my neighborhood AA. I did however pick up 2 Qts of Valvoline 10W30 advanced synthetic from AZ for $4 per Qt. AZ is having some oil clearances as well.

Their prices on 5 qt jugs of Fram are still not worth a sniff. $14.95 for conventional and $20.95 for full syn.
One of the better deals remaining is the 12 oz. PSF for $0.85.
